While the seat selection feature was launched earlier, the airline has simplified the process to ensure that passengers are assigned seats as per their selection. While they do not guarantee the seats selected because of the availability, there are still chances of getting seats as requested. This means if the preferred seat type is not available during flight booking, you can leave a request via the United Airlines mobile app. You can choose from a window or aisle seat, an exit row, or a bulkhead seat. If the seat is available anytime before the travel date, you will be automatically assigned and notified regarding the change of placement.
